About Us

In 2018, while clearing out her grandmother's brownstone, designer Emma Russo discovered a rusted biscuit tin filled with mismatched vintage charms. That afternoon of untangling delicate chains sparked what would become KIRALUX - where every piece carries that same sense of serendipitous discovery.

We hand-select Victorian-era components and mid-century beads, then reimagine them through a modern lens. Our signature "Rebel Pearls" collection (pearls paired with rough-hewn brass) was literally born when Emma dropped her grandmother's strand into a toolbox by accident.

Now working from a sunlit studio in Portland, our small team still follows Grandma Rosa's motto: "Jewelry should make you smile first, accessorize second." Each piece ships with its provenance card - like the 1940s Czech glass beads that became our best-selling "Moonlight Hoops," or the repurposed typewriter keys now dancing on delicate necklaces.
